Hi from Kenya! There's so much that I could say, I almost want to say nothing at all. I basically just wanted to let you know that I'm alive and having the experience of a lifetime. If you want to know more details you can visit ubckenya.blogspot.com. I think that's right. If not, just leave a comment and then next time I'll tell you the right address.
Ok, people are waiting on me (I'm at an internet cafe near where we're staying.) I'm out.

it looks like you guys are having a great time, and i can't wait to hear all about it! good luck with the soccer match too, i hear those kids from kibera play dirty...
Jambo! to YOU!
I just read the ubc blogspot - about the soccer game - and the huge slum. my goodness - this sounds like a trip that is life-changing - -certainly eye-opening. just reading about it is.
we're praying for you.
'can't wait to see you - in just a week!

laura! i asked your dad this morning if he had gotten any updates from you, and he told me that you are having the time of your life! YEA!
i read the ubc blog and saw the part about laura learning SO MUCH from her business classes . . . and i wondered if you had secretly been taking these "business classes" . . . but then i saw there there is a laura leskoven on board, and she must be the business guru. not that you couldn't be if you wanted to. ;)
let us know how your safari, london, and the kids are!
love,
julia
p.s. thanks for the camera charger and the checks!
'can't wait to see you!!
